From our headquarters in Hartsville, South Carolina, and from 295 manufacturing and sales locations in 32 countries, our approximately 15,200 employees produce packaging for a variety of industries and for many of the world’s most recognized consumer brands.

Sonoco’s sales growth strategy is driven by acquisitions, plus organic growth comprised of new product and market development, new applications of existing technologies and geographical expansion. Shown on the cover are recent examples of the Company’s growing number of products resulting from its organic initiatives to help provide sustainable and profitable growth.

Front: The large pallet (background) is a new protective packaging offering, helping customers deliver their products to market in a display-ready system • A new injection-molded tube (far right) for household caulks is a new consumer product, leveraging Sonoco’s more than 20 years of experience in plastics • Sonoco’s Valved Ultra-Seal® closure on the Maxwell House® coffee can (front) is a popular new consumer convenience feature that eliminates the need for a can opener • The Furée™ beverage in a blow-molded bottle (front) is the first commercial application developed by Sonoco’s new rigid plastics team • An engineered carrier (center), with enhanced capabilities to carry greater amounts of products and to run at higher speeds, is shown wound with sophisticated polyester film • The blue flexible packaging retortable pouch (far left) is a new and innovative package soon to be seen on store shelves • The Company’s SonoWrap™ single-wrap pack (back), the ‘ next generation’ in rigid paperboard packaging, is seen with the red label in its first commercial application for Sunkist® Pistachios.

Back: The Company’s well-known Sonotube® fibre form (back left) has taken on a new shape as the Sonotube Square fibre form • A new flame retardant paperboard (back right) was created by Sonoco for use as a refrigerator backing • Large cans of Maxwell House® coffee (right) are bundled with Sonoco’s flexible packaging film in a shrink multipack, giving consumers added buying convenience • Nestlé® Toll House® Candy Bars (center) are a new confectionery product, launched in one of Sonoco’s stand-up pouches with rotogravure printed ‘billboard’ graphics to attract consumer attention • Sonoco’s smaller composite can (far left) is being offered as a snack cup option that fits well in car cup holders and kids hands, giving consumers a new way to enjoy snacks ‘on the go’ • Sonoco provides packaging services to Hewlett-Packard to get its inkjet printer cartridges on to store shelves, as well as manufacturing folding cartons for many of its cartridges.
