Sonoco offers both roll stock and pre-made pouches with laminated
structures to enhance end-use applications using flexographic or rotogravure printing.
Sizes range from large to small single-serve or on-the-go stick pouch formats. Our pouches feature unique open/re-close features that include: notched tear strip, press-to-close zippers, slider zipper, laser scoring and other technologies.
Stand-up pouches offer an environmental advantage when compared to other packaging formats, while stick pouches offer material savings over sachets.
Stick pouches
Single-serve stick pouches are designed to let consumers prepare drinks on the go, without a mess. But, all too often, they’re inadequately scored, so they don’t tear and open properly. Our SonoScore® technology allows Sonoco to control, with pinpoint accuracy, both the placement and depth of the score on both lap and fin seal applications, without compromising the barrier.
We can use a variety of patterns and depths to create the ultimate opening for your particular product, ensuring that the top tears cleanly and completely away from the stick pouch.

Stand-up pouches
Sonoco makes stand-up pouches for virtually any product. Our knowledge of materials science enables us to meet a wide range of performance requirements, even challenging applications for processed foods. We can vary the size for single-serve, on-the-go ease or “super size” for multiple servings.
You can customize your pouch with open and re-close features, add a fitment for sipping and a zipper for re-close, and use vivid rotogravure and flexographic printing to showcase what’s inside.
