Sonoco also offers pre-capping and pre-plugging services. Pre-capped cores are cores with metal ends or sleeves attached by Sonoco prior to shipment to the mill. Similarly, pre-plugged cores are cores with plugs inserted by Sonoco prior to shipment to the mill.
