Sonoco delivers North America's first retortable membrane closure. The Ultrapeel closure system delivers the ultimate in convenience for processed foods.
The Ultrapeel retort end is a membrane structure heat sealed to an aluminum ring. The closure has lower opening forces than conventional convenience closures, has no sharp edges and utilizes current double-seam technology requiring minimal seamer modifications.
Designed for today's heat-and-eat packages, including microwave applications, this smooth-opening feature is perfect for kids and busy moms.
