| Sonoco earned supplier of the year status from Ahlstrom in Europe. |

Sonoco earned a supplier of the year award from Ahlstrom for services in 2007. The award is given to suppliers based on performance measured in specific categories.
This is the second time Sonoco has won the award since it was implemented four years ago, and Sonoco is only one of two suppliers to earn the coveted supplier of the year award two times. The supplier of the year status was given for the indirect materials and services category of Ahlstrom's program.
The award was presented to Sonoco by Ahlstrom CEO Risto Anttonen and Andrea Grosso, vice president of purchasing. |
