With nearly a century of experience producing tape cores, Sonoco is a leading provider of adhesive tape cores for polypropylene, PVC, paper, masking, and other tape markets.
Our cores focus on precise cut quality and meeting required dimensions and specifications. We meet your technical requirements by selecting from a wide range of in-house coreboard options.

Brand Recognition and Productivity Down to the Core
Sonoco’s in-house printing and graphics capabilities allow us to not only perfectly print your branding on the inside of tape cores, but also to deliver over 1,000 different types of outside ply liners and branding options. These outside ply liners can be matched to different material needs including silicon, foam and various types of films.
- Sonoco sources raw material from our Cirie paper mill to provide coreboard with a low moisture content and reliable strength properties
- Ensuring consistent core dimensions with our standardised and automated line
- Standardised packaging of corrugated boxes and euro pallets so tape cores arrive undamaged and ready-to-use
- Branding requirements can be met via our in-house graphics and printing
- We also produce tape cores at our Caserta, Italy plant.
