    How Do I Connect?

    Connect using my Sonoco Laptop

If you have a Sonoco laptop, you can connect to your Sonoco resources using your Sonoco device using one of the following.

    1. Connect to many of your applications through the Employee Resource site.
    2. Connect to your email and other Microsoft applications through www.office.com.
    3. Connect to applications/resources only available on the Sonoco network through VPN.
    4. Connect to your files using your Sonoco device. You can access files using OneDrive, if set-up. OneDrive allows you to have a space in the cloud to store your files. Think of it as your hard drive in the cloud which you can share with others! To learn more about OneDrive, go here.
    5. Connect to your network drives through the Sonoco VPN.

    Connect to my Sonoco Desktop

If you do not have a Sonoco laptop and utilize a Sonoco desktop in the office you can connect to your resources using one of the following.

    1. Connect to many of your applications on a non-Sonoco device through the Employee Resource site.
    2. Connect to your email and other Microsoft applications through www.office.com
    3. Connect to your Sonoco desktop from a non-Sonoco device through the Remote Desktop application. Your Sonoco desktop must be on the Sonoco network, have the necessary software installed, and turned on for the Remote Desktop to work. IT is working to push the Remote Desktop application to all Sonoco desktops.  If when you connect to the Remote Desktop tool through the Employee Resource site you do not see your desktop, please email remotedesktop@sonoco.com. Instructions on how to connect to the service can be found here.
    4. Connect to your files using the Remote Desktop application.
    5. Connect to your network drives using the remote desktop application.
