Paul Joachimczyk is the Chief Financial Officer of Sonoco Products Company (NYSE: SON). He is responsible for the Company’s global finance organization. Joachimczyk joined the Company on June 30, 2025, and has nearly 25 years of progressive experience in financial leadership with several multinational publicly traded corporations.

Joachimczyk previously served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of American Woodmark Corporation (NASDAQ: AMWD), one of the nation’s largest cabinet manufacturers based in Winchester, Virginia. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Finance for TopBuild Corporation, a construction services and distribution company based in Daytona Beach, Florida and held finance leadership positions with Stanley Black & Decker and General Electric’s Healthcare and Capital Markets divisions. He began his career with Ernst and Young LLP as a financial auditor.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a Certified Public Accountant. He and his wife, Teresa, and their three children will reside in Hartsville, SC. 

Rodger Fuller is the Chief Operating Officer for Sonoco. In this role, he’s responsible for Sonoco’s consumer and industrial operations and businesses globally, Sonoco’s Supply Management, Information Technology, Automation and Robotics organizations as well as Sonoco Metal Packaging EMEA.

Throughout his career, Fuller has been active in numerous industry and community service organizations, including serving on the Board of the Sonoco Foundation, The Paper and Packaging Board, American Forest & Paper Association, the Hartsville United Way Board, the South Carolina Governors School for Science and Mathematics Foundation as well as the American Heart Association.

Fuller previously served as the Executive Vice President of Sonoco Global Operations, Senior Vice President of Global Consumer Packaging, Display and Packaging and Protective Solutions, Senior Vice President of Paper/Engineered Carriers and other leadership roles throughout his career with Sonoco.

He is a graduate of Berry College in Rome, Georgia with a bachelor’s in business administration and an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

John Florence is the General Counsel, Secretary, Vice President and General Manager of Industrial Paper Packaging in North America. He has been with Sonoco since 2015, most recently as General Counsel, Secretary and General Manager for Converted Paper Products in North America. In January 2025, he assumed additional responsibilities for leading the newly combined North American paper division, now Industrial Paper Packaging. In each role, he remains steadfast in nurturing Sonoco’s people-first culture, recognizing the people behind the products.

County Bar Association and the Association of General Counsel. He also serves on the Boards of Directors for Wren’s Nest, a non-profit in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Charles W. and Elizabeth H. Coker Foundation in Hartsville, South Carolina. Additionally, John serves on the Board of Trustees for Coker University, the Governors School for Science and Mathematics and the University of South Carolina’s Business Partnership Foundation.

Florence previously managed the integration of Sonoco Metal Packaging and served as the Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to Sonoco, he served as a partner with Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. in Columbia, SC where he managed legal work for Sonoco and other clients.

He holds an MBA from the University of South Carolina, a J.D. from Samford University and a bachelor’s in English from Presbyterian College. He is a 2018 graduate of Liberty Fellowship.

Seán Cairns is President, Consumer Packaging EMEA/APAC at Sonoco, overseeing both rigid paper containers and metal packaging operations across Europe and Asia. He previously served as President, Consumer Packaging, Global Rigid Paper Packaging (RPC), overseeing operations across North and South America, Europe and Asia since 2022. A respected industry leader, he has been instrumental in driving growth, innovation and sustainability, positioning Sonoco as a global market leader.

Since joining Sonoco in 2008 to lead the European RPC business, Cairns has led four major acquisitions that expanded Sonoco’s sustainable packaging capabilities. Under his leadership, the Company achieved 60% organic growth by delivering innovative, high-performance packaging solutions. Now, he is bringing these advancements to a global scale, driving strong, single-digit growth by expanding into new markets and geographies.

With over 30 years in packaging, his expertise is rooted in a strong technical foundation as a former Merchant Marine. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Wales College, Cardiff, an Executive MBA from Manchester Business School and is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

James Harrell is the President of Global Industrial Paper Packaging (IPP) at Sonoco, overseeing the Company’s approximately $2.4 billion industrial packaging business. IPP is a global leader in the production of uncoated recycled paperboard (URB), tubes, cores, cones, partition, protective packaging and other products.

Harrell joined Sonoco in 1985 and has served in various management and operational leadership roles across both the domestic and international industrial packaging businesses.

He graduated with his bachelor’s in business administration and management from Francis Marion University in 1985 and earned his MBA from Duke University in 2002. He serves on the board of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and the Francis Marion University Alumni Association.

Ernest Haynes is President, Consumer Packaging Americas at Sonoco, overseeing both rigid paper containers and metal packaging operations in North and South America. He previously served as President, Metal Packaging NA, the world’s leading manufacturer of steel food and aerosol cans, closures and components. He assumed the role in 2022 following the acquisition of Ball Metalpack, and under his leadership, Sonoco also acquired Eviosys, further solidifying its position as a global industry leader.

Since joining Sonoco in 1997, Haynes has held numerous leadership roles across both the consumer and industrial segments. From 2018 until his current appointment, he served as Division Vice President and General Manager of Rigid Paper Containers in North America. Prior to that, he was Director of Manufacturing for Tubes & Cores. He also chaired Sonoco’s Corporate Quality Council, reflecting his deep commitment to operational excellence and quality throughout the organization.

Haynes is passionate about fostering a culture of innovation and ensuring world-class manufacturing, quality and technical service for brands worldwide. He places significant importance on community impact through service and currently serves as a director on the Clemson University Foundation Board. He’s also a life member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

Haynes is a graduate of the Wharton School’s Executive General Management Program and holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Clemson University.

Shawn Munday is the Vice President of Strategic Finance, responsible for Sonoco’s global treasury and tax functions along with the Company’s mergers and acquisitions. He joined Sonoco in 2022 and was previously a Professor of Finance at the University of North Carolina (UNC) Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Senior Lecturer at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Prior to academia, Munday served as a managing director for Citigroup where he spent more than a decade advising private equity clients on acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations and capital-raising activities. He also served as a commissioned submarine officer in the U.S. Navy.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Andrea White is Chief Human Resources Officer of Sonoco, driving continuous improvement culture across every facet of the organization.

White is an 18-year Sonoco veteran who began her career as a Reliability Engineer after working in Manufacturing and Process Improvement for Milliken & Company for over a decade. She quickly expanded her role within the Company to serve as a Global Maintenance Excellence Manager before assuming the position of Director of Global Sonoco Performance System and Organizational Development in 2018. In 2022, she was named Vice President of Global Operational Excellence with additional leadership responsibilities in Commercial Excellence and Information Technology before being named to the role of Vice President of Global Human Resources.

White is a 1996 graduate of North Carolina State University, with a bachelor’s in textile engineering, is certified in Lean Manufacturing and serves on the Florence Darlington Technical College Foundation Board.

Roger Schrum is Head of Investor Relations and Global Marketing Communications for Sonoco. Schrum returned to Sonoco in 2025 after retiring as Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs since 2005.

Before joining Sonoco, Schrum was Vice President of Human Resources and Communications for NorthWestern Corporation (NYSE: NWE) since 2001. He also served as General Manager of Marketing Communications and Public Affairs for SCANA Corporation since 1993, Director of External Communications for Ashland, Inc. (NYSE: ASH) since1987, and Manager of Financial Communications for Diamond Shamrock Corporation since1980.

Schrum holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Pittsburg (Kansas) State University and attended the Executive Development Program at Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He is also a graduate of Leadership Kentucky and Leadership South Carolina.

He also has served on numerous boards and commissions, and is current Chair of the South Carolina Technical College System.
