Launching in 2026, Sonoco’s Externship Program offers students a 3–4-day, immersive opportunity to explore careers within a global manufacturing company. Through hands-on observation, interactive experiences and exposure to real-world industry environments, participants gain insight into Sonoco’s business and the diverse career pathways that support it, from manufacturing and skilled trades to business and IT. The program is designed to introduce students to the world of industry and provide an early look at potential career opportunities at Sonoco.
